A Letter of Thanks – to You!

To My Readers…friends known and not known,

On our National Day of giving thanks, I too have much to be thankful for.  Quite simply, it is YOU.  Thanks so much for tuning in.  For taking the time out of your busy schedule to read this Zen Mama Wannabe’s take on trying to stay sane in the midst of chaos.

It has always been a goal a dream of mine to write.  At various times, I have fancied myself writing novels, children’s books, magazine articles – heck, even having a monthly column in some popular women’s or parenting magazine.  Dream big – that’s what I always say.  ☺

I do have big dreams for the future, even here on this site.   Be on the lookout for a new look as well as a few more little goodies that will be coming in the months ahead.  But for this moment, I just remain thankful – thankful to be able to express myself in this way, and thankful that there are a growing number of people who want to read it!  As always, I welcome your comments – and appreciate your passing it on when something here resonates with you.

I started “blogging” not knowing much of anything about this rapidly growing social medium.  I have fumbled my way through adding a picture to a post or putting in a U-Tube video and the whole Facebook/Twitter/Stumble Upon thing still makes me scratch my head a bit.  I struggle with finding the time just to write, much less checking out and commenting on other blogs, or networking with fellow writers.  But slowly but surely I am getting there.  Onward and upward as they say.

So again, thank you.  I appreciate your support more than you will ever know!

May you enjoy a Happy Thanksgiving – and find there is much in your life to be thankful for too.

Yours truly,
Zen Mama Wannabe

A very happy Thanksgiving Day to you! I find myself reflecting today on all the many blessings in my life and have been a bit surprised that most of them are the intangibles. Friends — family — good health — love and laughter…

However you celebrate today, enjoy your many blessings!

Yesterday was Thanksgiving and I had a very special moment. After we had finished eating, my 14 year old wanted us to all go around the table and say what we are thankful for. Something I am sure many other families do. When it got to be her turn to share, she teared up and could barely choke out how much her family means to her and how truly thankful she is for the many blessings in her life. It will always be one of my treasured memories. Thanks Zen Mamma for your great blog and providing us with a forum to share, learn and grow.
